Absolutely! We not only give you colour palettes that work well together, video chat to help you select an outfit/ or two.

We may not be mountaineers, but we absolutely hike our butts up a mountain if that's what you want! 

Yes! We love furry friends. Our only requirement is to follow the rules of any location. If the location does not allow animals, then unfortunately we will have to pick a new location or leave the furry friends at home.

Have no fear! Everyone gets a bit camera shy. We have some amazing tricks up our sleeves to make things appear real and authentic. Since all of our engagement sessions are catered to your relationship, the session will feel more like hanging out than a photoshoot, which also helps ease the awkwardness.

We are often asked what you should wear. My number one answer is what ever makes you feel good! Choose something you feel confident in that is also comfortable to move around in. When planning for a family photo session choose one outfit or colour palette as a base and then coordinate the rest. There are lots of examples on Pinterest if you are looking for inspiration or we are also happy to do a complimentary phone consultation to help you out. We do recommend avoiding clashing busy patterns, neon colours, or anything with large logos. At the end of the day we are there to photograph you so if you like your outfits or want to come all dressed as unicorns then we are happy to document it for you!

Being a local Fraser Valley company we know we get our fair share of weather. We go case by case basis on weather. We will often have a plan B rain location along with cute umbrellas for rain but can also give the opportunity to post pone. All deposits are non refundable so we will happily move your scheduled session date one time for no fee ( this does not apply to no shows)

Feeling worried about keeping the kiddos happy and cooperative during the session is normal. The best way to ease this is if you are calm and excited chances are they will be to! Your kids will feed off of your energy. We try to include and element of fun and play into our family sessions with younger children by turning poses into games or incorporating small breaks to keep it low-pressure. We also encourage bringing snacks, toys, or something that keeps them comfortable. If you have a member in your group with any sensory issues or disabilities we are more than happy to accommodate to the best of our ability. We are a 100% judgement free so if your kiddo isn't cooperating in the moment do not worry we will help you to turn it around and make the best of your session.

An Elopement does not just have to be you, your significant other, two witnesses and a commissioner. We consider an event an elopement if you have 15 or fewer guests, and no official reception.

Yes, we do editing on all of our images but don't worry we won't airbrush you to look like a plastic doll! The kind of editing we do is to enhance what the camera sees. Since cameras are not yet able to produce what the human eye can see, we need to help it along. Without this, the final images would look flat and lifeless. We also have the opportunity to use this tool to edit out things like ugly exit signs, golf carts, and power lines - to name a few. This tool is also great for letting us put a creative artistic touch on your images to turn them into a work of art you are proud to frame and hang on your walls.

Embrace it! This is real life, and we are along for the ride to document it. The weather is the one thing completely out of our control, so you can't stress about it. If your day is a giant wind storm and everything that can go wrong does, roll with it. At the end of the day, you’ll be married and nothing else will matter! Plus, you’ll have one amazing story to share with your grandkids and some amazing images and videos.

We honestly prefer exploring new locations. This gives us the opportunity to see things differently and will push us to explore artistically. Beforehand, we will do our best to research the area around in order to find a location for portraits. We also do a quick location scout if there is an opportunity.
