Whonnock Lake Wedding|Brittany and Daryn
Whonnock Lake wedding, Every little detail was wrapped with sentiment
Brittany and Daryn's wedding kicked everyone right in the feels in all the best ways. Every little detail was wrapped with sentiment.
In the morning we arrived to Brittany's sister's home where she was getting ready. This also just so happens to be one block over from their home where Daryn was getting ready with the boys. Brittany was surrounded by so many supportive loved ones while getting ready. Even in the morning hustle and bustle there was heart and thought in every moment. I gathered her details which included a hand made garter that her mom made out of materials from Brittany's Grandma who was watching the day from heaven above. Even though she was not physically there in person she absolutely was there in spirit and memorialized in many details through out the wedding. Brittany's sister handed her a card, even though I didn't read the personal letter inside we can all tell the bond the two share through the reaction Brittany had while reading it. She included a pair of earrings special for the day. Brittany's hair included lace pieces from her mom's wedding dress giving it a glamorous special touch. Once her hair and make up was complete and a quick baby snuggle with her brand new baby niece she snuck away with her mom to get dressed. Her bridesmaids waited with anticipation outside for her grand reveal and their reactions were priceless! Hugs and tears of joy were shared and they climbed into the limo making their way to the Whonnock Lake Center.
Meanwhile Keira was with the boys who were spending their morning hanging out and sharing a beverage. They wanted a photo of themselves on the dock by the river with their butts... You're welcome we did not include these on the blog haha!! Once the shenanigans were finished it was time for them to polish off getting ready so they could make their way to the venue.
When we arrived at the venue Bright and Grey had everything under control and might I add these two ladies were rock stars keeping everything on track and smooth sailing all day long! Brittany and her Dad also shared a special first look moment, and showed off another sentimental piece. His tie had a note from herself to her dad and custom cufflinks with a special message in it. The girls tucked away in the bridal room as the first guests began to arrive. The boys arrived just in the nick of time and the ceremony began. Daryn escorted his mom down the aisle and his nana had the best reaction. Everyone rose to their feet and Brittany made her way down the aisle with her Dad by her side. They exchanged vows and Daryn started off by reading Brittany's which made everyone laugh. They signed their wedding registry and sealed it with a kiss. Brittany and Daryn spent a few minutes taking pictures and then joined their guests for the cocktail hour. After dinner we ran out for a few minutes to get a few more pictures during the golden hour. They cut their cake and Brittany discretly snuck off to get changed into a very special dress. They still had her Grandma's dress and it fit her like a glove! Naturally she decided to surprise everyone by switching into the dress to wear for the speeches and their first dance. Escorted by her Mom Brittany made her second grand entrance of the day back into the reception and had many in tears of joy. Every one shared tears of joy, memories and even more laughs during the speeches. The two of them shared their first dance and the party started. In order to keep her Grandma's dress safe Brittany quickly changed back into her dress and joined the fun.
