Vancouver Golf Club Wedding| Alisha and Ryan
Alisha and Ryan were lucky enough to have the best of both worlds
If I could get remarried again (to the same man again haha) I would choose to have my wedding in the fall. Alisha and Ryan were lucky enough to have the best of both worlds. A fall wedding with summer weather. October of 2022 truly showed us what global warming was all about. The sun was shining and it was hot!
Alisha got ready at her maid of honour's house. The girls were relaxed and sharing stories and laughs together. The bubbly was popping, and with lots of time they were able to actually enjoy the morning rather than rush through in panic. Ryan got ready at one of the groomsmen's house where they enjoyed pizza, beverages of their own, some gaming and took over the mini basketball hoop.
The girl's took a party bus and the boy's a limo and made their way to a park for a first look. We started off with her dad and her mom watched giving us all the feels. With anticipation Ryan waited his turn around the corner. We made our way over for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time. After their first look we had plenty of time to have some fun with the wedding party before we sent them back to the party bus while we gave Alisha and Ryan a moment alone and did their portraits. Still with tons of time to spare the couple joined their wedding party on the bus and leisurely made their way to the Vancouver Golf Club for their ceremony and reception.
When we arrived the space was decorated so elegantly with lots of candles for ambience. Alisha and Ryan decided they didn't want to fuss with a room change over for their guests and opted for table seating at their ceremony. Their ceremony was very quick but still very romantic. After the ceremony we escaped outside and took a moment with the two of them to catch the amazing golden hour. Since the ceremony was later in the afternoon dinner was very soon after the ceremony. Let's just say this was the BEST dinner I have had at a wedding. My stomach rumbles just thinking about it. We moved onto speeches which had so many stories shared since the couple and their families went way back. I always enjoy hearing all the stories that come out at a wedding. The speeches were wrapped up by Alisha where she had a special surprise for her Nana. Since her Nana graciously shared her 80th! Birthday date with the couple they wanted to honour her with a cupcake and everyone singing happy birthday. The celebrations continued leading into the first dance, father daughter, and mother son dance. All the parents then continued to share a dance in celebration dancing together in honour of blending the families together.
