Capilano Suspension Bridge Proposal
A magical proposal at the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver BC.
Sometimes I believe in the power of manifestation. Last year I really wanted to shoot a proposal. I talked about it once to a friend and a month later I was in contact with Curtis.
Curtis was planning on bringing his girlfriend out from Calgary just for the day so he could propose to her at the Capliano Suspension bridge during their bright nights display. On Boxing Day morning Curtis and Natasha boarded a plane and landed at the Vancouver Airport. They spent the day touring around Vancouver and Natasha had some suspicions as to what was happening. Just before sunset Keira and I arrived at the suspension bridge to locate a spot for the proposal moment. We got set up and waited for the two of them to make their way across. While we waited in anticipation pretending to be tourists enjoying the scenery. When they arrived Curtis got down on one knee and I had to push through a group of people who had made their way over to the spot. Thankfully Natasha said YES!! We gave them a moment to enjoy their moment together before exploring the rest of the area. We spent the rest of the time walking around using the unique location for photos. There were some lighting challenges but we enjoyed being able to jump at the challenge to create unique memories for these two. We spent as much time as we could enjoying the displays until we had to send the two of them back to the airport since they were flying back home the same day. We wish these two the best and hope they have a magical wedding.
